Position Title: EFM Roving Administrative Assistant

BASIC FUNCTION OF POSITION

The incumbent will perform a variety of tasks on an as needed basis in any office in the Mission as assigned by the Human Resources Officer. Duties include providing office assistance; routine filing; preparing and submitting requests, to include visitor access requests, travel requests, work orders, purchase requests, , as well as security escort support.  May also respond to written or oral inquiries on consular matters.  The position will carry out other duties as assigned and is supervised by the Human Resources Officer. While on assignment, direct supervision and work guidance comes directly from that section/office.

QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED

  2. Experience: Minimum of one year of administrative and/or customer service experience is required.
  3. Languages: Level IV (Fluency) speaking/reading/writing in English is required. (This will be tested).

Position Title: Security Guard

Work Hours: Full-Time, 40 hours/week
Salary: Ordinarily Resident (OR): FSN-4

BASIC FUNCTION OF POSITION

Incumbent performs guard service to safeguard U.S. Government personnel and property. Duties include either walking or stationary post, performed on a rotating shift basis.  Services are required at any time of day or night, weekends or holidays, at any USG owned or leased facility within the municipality of Jerusalem.

QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED

  1. Education: Completion of Secondary School is required.
  2. Experience: At least one year of police, military or security experience is required.
  3. Language: Level III (Good working knowledge) Speaking/Reading/Writing in English and Level III (Good working knowledge) Speaking /Reading /Writing Arabic or Hebrew are required. (This will be tested)
  4. Must be able to work on a shift basis with minimal flexibility in the work schedule.

BASIC FUNCTION OF POSITION

Performs guard duties to safeguard U.S. Government personnel and property. Duties may include either walking or stationary post, performed on a rotating shift basis. Services may be required at any time of day or night, weekends or holidays, at any USG owned or leased facility within the municipality of Jerusalem. Qualifying with and carrying a Diplomatic Security-approved firearm is a requirement.

QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED

  1. Experience: At least one year of police, military or security experience is required.

  4. Must be eligible for an Israeli weapons permit as per Israel National Police Requirements.
